Some of us Monday are doing a games night where people bring in games and we draw players from a hat. Card or board games - simple stuff to introduce people to new things/social circles.

After discussions between the Card Co-ordinator, TO and participants the event either runs as planned (without the prize pool if under the threshold) or gets rescheduled.

As Lauren said list submission allows the TO and treasurer to allocate the correct amount of funds as tournament size defines the budget. Just asking players if they will turn up is not a reliable tool.

I'll be bringing Mr Jack Pocket and probably Citadels. For those wanting to bring games, its better to bring ones that don't take most of the night.

I'm happy with White, Although they should nerf the knights. It's OP they can move in 2 directions every turn and I see this trick used every game.

I still enjoy chess, it's not had any new releases for quite a while I see GW games getting played less often in the wider community. Attendance has fallen in many 40K tournaments, and several GCN clubs which were once 40K clubs now play a spread …
